With backgrounds in Fine Arts and Fashion, we merge painting, stitching, and design to transform denim into canvases you can wear. Inspired by synesthesia, abstract painting, and a passion for styling fabrics, our work highlights the individuality and diverse beauty of women through bold portraits, textured details, and hand-finished accessories. Each jacket is one of a kind pieces with a fusion of color, fabric, and story, crafted to celebrate identity, creativity, and the art of self-expression.
About Us
Paint and Stitch was founded in 2025 by two sisters whose creative paths naturally merged into one vision. Both graduates of Nottingham Trent University’s Fine Arts program in 2023, one brings the eye of an abstract painter inspired by her synesthesia translating colors, textures, and emotions into vivid portraits while the other, a Mascom graduate, channels her lifelong passion for fashion through cutting, stitching, and accessorizing fabrics into new forms. What began as playful experiments painting on jeans and T-shirts in 2021 evolved into a brand that redefines wearable art. Each piece is a one of a kind canvas, celebrating the beauty and individuality of women of mixed races through hand-painted portraits, textured details, and stitched embellishments. By blending fabric paint with ready-made and handmade accessories, Paint and Stitch creates statement jackets that are not just clothes, but living artworks that empower and highlight the many layers of women’s beauty
